Monmouth Masks

There are 2 designs: The Knight (first photograph) and The Miller (second photograph). Both designs are found in all 3 sizes and in three different finishes: brown unglazed, white unglazed, and white glazed. However, only the small and large sizes are found white glazed. The model has a small hole in the back which was presumably intended for wall hanging. It will not stand unsupported. In reality, there are 3 masks in Geoffrey of Monmouth’s study. The third one, The Angel, appears not to have been modelled by Goss.
